Evangeline Catahoulas is an NALC certified
breeder and ACA member. This is a small kennel located on the North shore of
Lake Ontario in South/Central Ontario, Canada. Our dogs are registered with both
NALC (National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas) and UKC (United Kennel
Club).
Our goal is to breed Catahoulas that are sound of body and temperament. Catahoulas that are intelligent, have correct conformation and possess an innate working ability. Our Catahoulas are family members first and foremost, they are not kept in kennels but share the house with us.
Our dogs have been hip tested and proven free
from Hip Dysplasia either through OFA (Orthopaedic Foundation for Animals) or
PennHIP (Pennsylvania University Hip Improvement Program) Our dogs have been DNA
tested to determine suitability for breeding. Our dogs are Conformation Show
Champions. They have won both UKC Championships and Canadian Rare Breed
Championships. They have also competed in NALC treeing and B-Bay hog trials.
